Happy Wednesday!
I know I say this every month but I cannot believe my babies are 11 months old! We have less than a month until they are one year old and it seems like Meredith and Natalie are turning into toddlers right before my eyes! This month has been so much fun. They are getting more mobile by the day and their personalities are coming out more and more. I am trying to soak in each day because time is going faster than I’d like! I wish it would slow down just a little bit.

Meredith
Weight/Length: We didn’t have a well check this month and I haven’t gotten a chance to try and weigh her. So we have no idea how long she is or how much she weighs!
Clothing Size: She’s in 12 month clothes!
Likes: Playing peekaboo and Where’s Meredith. Those are her two favorite games! She also loves crawling all over the house and she’s our little explorer!
Dislikes: Diaper changes and clothing changes.
Milestones: Meredith started pulling up this month and she is constantly standing! She is starting to cruise around and I have a feeling she’ll be walking before we know it!
Natalie
Weight/Length: We didn’t have a well check this month and I haven’t gotten a chance to try and weigh her. So we have no idea how long she is or how much she weighs!
Clothing Size: She is in 12 month clothes!
Likes: Natalie loves the dogs and playing with her feet and babbling. She is our little social butterfly!
Dislikes: She absolutely hates diaper changes and clothing changes. It is an olympic sport to get her changed and dressed!
Milestones: Natalie also started pulling up this month and she’s starting to cruise around. She’ll be walking before we know it!
Both Girls
Sleep: We officially sleep trained the girls this month and they are sleeping so great now! It was long overdue honestly but I just kept putting it off. Sleep training only took one night and I think that’s because both girls were ready. I think if we had done it any sooner it would not have been successful or may have taken more time. They are now sleeping 12-13 hours at night and it has been great for the whole family!
Food/Eating: The girls are still taking 4 bottles a day and we plan to start weaning them off formula next month when they turn one. Their pediatrician wants to wait until their birthday to transition to whole milk so we will start that transition in a month or so. They have 3 meals a day in addition to their bottles and they are great eaters! They have tried so many new foods this month it’s hard to remember them all. A few things that come to mind are peas, carrots, black beans, rice, cottage cheese, hummus, turkey meat, meatballs, chicken, mac n cheese, and spaghetti. I know there are others I am forgetting! We are still exploring whether they have an egg allergy or sensitivity but it’s pretty obvious there is something with eggs that’s not agreeing with them. For now we are avoiding egg and working with our pediatrician on next steps.
Schedule: Meredith and Natalie are still on 2 naps a day and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. They sleep 12-13 hours at night and take two 1.5 hour naps a day!
Mom and Dad: Chris and I are doing great! Once again, we failed in our goal of having a date this month, but life has been crazy. We are unexpectedly homebound with the coronavirus pandemic so I don’t think we’ll be going on a date anytime soon. But we are making the best of it and we have date nights at home after the girls go to bed. They are asleep by 7 so we still have several hours in the evening to catch up and spend time together. Hopefully we will be able to go on a date for our 4 year anniversary that is coming up!
And now for more pictures of the babies 🙂

Meredith and Natalie are at such a fun age right now! They are exploring everything and it has been so cool to watch their brains develop. Their personalities are coming out more each day and I can’t wait to watch their bond as they get older. I had lots of fun activities planned for this spring but those are on hold for now. I just can’t believe next month they are turning ONE! I’m sure my next post will be an emotional one. We just love these girls so much!
Until next time!
