Happy Wednesday!
Now that the girls have arrived, (if you missed that post, you can read it HERE) I am finally sharing a tour of their nursery. I didn’t share this earlier because we have signs with their names above their cribs and Chris and I didn’t announce their names until after they were born.
Designing a nursery for twins can be tricky, so if you are looking for some inspiration, I hope you will enjoy this post!
Truth be told, I had a theme in mind for the nursery even before we got pregnant. I mentioned it briefly in THIS post, but Chris and I originally planned to not find out the gender of our baby. We wanted it to be a surprise. So I had known for awhile we would need a gender neutral theme and color scheme. I planned to use whites and grays, then add navy or pink after the baby was born. Perfect plan, right?
Except when you get the shock of a lifetime and find out you’re having twins! Chris and I decided that was a big enough surprise and it would be easier to plan for two babies if we knew their gender. So on our cruise to the Bahamas, we opened up an envelope from our doctor and found out we were having twin girls!
After finding out the gender of our babies, I debated changing up my plans for the nursery, but I decided to stick with my original plan, which was a moon and stars theme. I thought it would be perfect for our little girls! Chris and I love space and we have watched so many space themed shows and documentaries over the years. We also love Star Trek and Star Wars. Clearly we have some kind of fascination with space and that was my inspiration for the nursery.
Back in December, we officially started working on the nursery. We got rid of the furniture in our guest room (it used to look like THIS) and painted the room light gray. Over the next several months we ordered and assembled furniture and hung up the wall decor. We finished the nursery just in time for our girls’ arrival! I am so happy with how it turned out!
Without further ado, our little girls’ nursery:
The walls are painted light gray and all of the furniture is white. We bought most everything from Amazon and Target, with a few exceptions. And I found the wall decor at Home Goods.
In case any of the pieces in our nursery stand out to you, I will link them below.

I still can’t believe we have twin girls. It is truly mind blowing! But I absolutely love how their nursery turned out. They aren’t using it much these days, but in the future when they are older, I hope they love their room as much as I do. And I hope that if you are looking for some twin nursery inspiration, you found it here!
