Hello! Long time, no write.
Truth be told, I have been in the throws of motherhood. It is all consuming, isn’t it? Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t trade it for anything! A large part of my blog thus far has been devoted to our IVF journey and if you followed along through that, you know how hard it was and how truly thankful and blessed we are to have 3 healthy children.
But motherhood is its own journey and I have lost myself and found myself, over and over again, throughout the last 5 years. You can read more in my About Me page but one thing I have realized over the last couple years is that I LOVE cooking! I find so much joy in trying new recipes and serving them to my family. Whenever I post pictures on social media, I usually get a few comments asking how I’m able to cook with 3 kids running around. My answer is always the same: meal planning! I live and breathe by meal planning. I take time each week to plan out our meals and place a grocery order with the ingredients I need to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the week. I’ve found that a little planning saves me time in the long run and that is the inspiration for the reboot of my blog!

Welcome to Meal Planning Mom!
In this blog, I will be sharing weekly meal plans that I am personally cooking and preparing for my family. I will give honest feedback about the recipes I tried: whether they were easy to make, if they were time consuming, and most importantly, if they actually tasted good. Busy moms don’t have time to make food their children aren’t actually going to eat right?
I have so many ideas for fun meal plans and I can’t wait to start trying them out. I’m glad you’re here and I hope you will follow along with Meal Planning Mom!
