Hello! And Happy Friday!
Chris and I are back from our bucket list vacation and I am feeling very relaxed and rejuvenated! We went on a 7-day Alaskan cruise out of Seattle and it was amazing! Be on the lookout for recaps and travel guides coming soon!
We got back late Tuesday night and I had to be at work bright and early Wednesday morning, so this week has been a total blur. Luckily, a long weekend is almost here and I can’t wait! In the meantime, let’s dive into this week’s Friday Favorites!
MY FAVORITES THIS WEEK
- Alaska: Surely you knew this was coming, since we just got back from vacation. Alaska is truly breath taking and it was everything I imagined it would be. I have wanted to go there for many years and I am so glad we were able to cross this one off our travel bucket list. Like I said, vacation recaps are coming soon, but until then, here are a few pictures from our trip:
- Portable Extended Battery: I use THIS extended battery/charger anytime we travel and it is the best. I’ve had it for years and it’s still going strong. It’s really convenient to charge it ahead of time and then use it on airplanes, trains, or cruise ships that only have 1 outlet per room.
- Garmin Vivofit 2: I got THIS watch a few years ago as a gift and when we moved, it got lost in the shuffle. Luckily, I found my watch right before our trip last week and I have been wearing it ever since. It tracks my steps, sleep patterns, and of course tells me the time. I love it!
- Anniversary Traditions: In my last post, I shared that Sunday was mine and Chris’ anniversary. I think anniversaries are so special and I love celebrating them. Chris and I were on vacation during our actual anniversary, so we went to a nice steak dinner on the ship that night, but we are having a belated celebration this weekend. Every year we write letters to each other and seal them up in a box to be opened the following year. I can’t wait to read what Chris wrote to me last year and have him read my letter as well. Then we will put them back in their box, along with letters to be opened next year on our 3 year anniversary. Traditions are the best.
I’m sure there are more things I’m loving this week, but to be honest, I’m a little tired and still adjusting to life back in the real world. So, that’s all I’ve got for today. Hope you all have a great weekend!
